Rory Valas
Rory Valas is a dedicated champion of franchisee rights, representing franchise clients throughout the United States and overseas. He is a member of the American Franchisee Association, the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Boston Bar Association.

       A graduate of Manhattanville College and Boston College Law School, Rory has been practicing business law and litigation for over fourteen years. He works with a network of attorneys throughout the country and abroad in the representation of his clients. Starting his career at the law firms of Gaston & Snow, Sally & Fitch and Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, he then joined the Law Offices of Harold Brown.
       Mr. Brown was an attorney with great knowledge and drive and devoted his life to the advocacy of franchisee rights. After Mr. Brown’s death in 1999, Mr. Valas was a founding member of a new firm specializing in the representation of franchisees and now continues his mission through the law firm of Valas & Associates, P.C.
       Rory places a paramount interest on his clients’ rights and has experience in a wide variety of fields and with many different Franchise Systems
       His pro bono activities include his service on the board of directors for the New England Council of Hostelling International. He was also a member of the Town of Ashland Conservation Commission from 1996 to 1999.
       Rory lives in Ashland, Massachusetts with his wife Cristina and their three children, Cassandra, 14, Natasha, 10, and Justin, 7.    Cristina, originally from Madrid, Spain, owns and operates the Family Pet Hospital at 300 Eliot Street in Ashland.  Rory is an avid bicyclist and outdoorsman and takes part in charity bicycle tours every year.
